PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
PROPOSED ZONING TEXT AMENDMENTS FOR LEROY TOWNSHIP, LAKE COUNTY, OHIO
The Leroy Township Zoning Board will hold a public hearing to consider proposed text amendments to the Leroy Township Zoning Resolution at 7:00 PM on January 13, 2026, at the Leroy Township Community Center, 13028 Leroy Center Road, Leroy, Ohio, 44077. The specific Zoning Resolution section and the topic of each proposed change are as follows:
Section 2, Definitions. Proposing a modification to the definition of the minimum area of a lot.
Section 2, Definitions. Proposing to add a definition of an attached accessory building.
Section 11.6, Board of Zoning Appeals. Proposing to add a period of validity for granted variances.
Section 16.05 (E) Accessory Buildings and Table 16.1. Proposing revisions to the minimum side and rear lot setbacks.
Section 16.05 (F) Accessory Buildings. Proposing limitations to the maximum square footage of an attached accessory building.
