The Leroy Rec Board volunteers put on community events such as the Spring and Fall Garage Sales, the Easter Egg Hunt and Trick-or-Treat Stroll, as well as Summer Concerts and Township Days.
We always welcome new volunteers to help plan these events for our community.

The 17th Annual Leroy Community Fall Garage Sale
When: Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026
From 9:00AM to 4:00PM
Where: Local Homes, Pavilion and Fields behind the Leroy Fire Station
WE’RE NOW ONLINE! Maps will be available the week prior on the Leroy Website at www.leroyohio.com. Event is Rain or Shine. No refunds.
The fee for home set-up is $5.00. This fee covers township permits, advertising, and inclusion on a community sale map. You must provide a sign for your own residence announcing your sale. The Rec. Board will supply signs at each road where there is a registered participant. Please DO NOT remove these signs, we will be back to pick them up!
The fee for set-up at the Leroy Township Ballfields is $10.00. Flea Market style; you must provide your own tables and pop-up tent (if you wish), and you may have as much space as needed. Large items may be sold out of truck or trailer in the parking area by concession stand. Please do not drive on the grass.
The fee for set-up under the covered Pavilion behind the Community Center is $12.00. You will be supplied with at least one picnic table and the immediate space around you. If the pavilion is not full you may use more.
Completed forms must be received by September 11th to be included on the map. Please make checks payable to Leroy Township and mail to Brandy Hanusosky.
