NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
LEROY TOWNSHIP BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
The Board of Zoning Appeals of Leroy Township, Lake County, Ohio gives notice that a Public Hearing will be
held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 7:00 pm at the Leroy Township Town Hall, 6684 Paine Road, Leroy
Twp., Ohio, 44077.
Application for Variance of Section 16.05 D. A variance of 640 sq. ft. has been requested by Tyler M. and
Emily A. Dieringer at 6591 Taylor Rd. The purpose of the variance is for an accessory building to be built
exceeding the limit of 2,000 sq. ft. on a lot size less than three (3) acres. Section 16.05 D states: The total
square footage of all accessory buildings on any lot smaller than three (3) acres shall not exceed two thousand
(2,000) square feet in any combination. The total square footage of all accessory buildings on any lot three (3)
acres or larger shall not exceed two thousand and four hundred (2,400) square feet in any combination. A
maximum of two (2) accessory buildings per lot of two (2) acres or less is permitted.

and written comments will be taken at this hearing.
